Eibli mimic tang and Eibli angelfish

This reef habitat is full of color, competition, and clever survival strategies.

One of the most fascinating relationships here is mimicry. The Eibli mimic tang resembles the Eibli angelfish, allowing it to blend in and avoid predators.

You’ll also find bold personalities like the blue-barred dottyback and harlequin basslet, both known for defending their territory, as well as the curious spotted sharpnose puffer.

The coral banded shrimp acts as both a cleaner and a defender, while the bubble-tip anemone uses its stinging tentacles to capture food drifting by.

Every inch of this reef is alive with movement, strategy, and survival.
