Across the hall from Espiritu’s bedroom is a room we have converted to look like a sitting and sewing room. We do not know how Miguel Leonis utilized the room originally, but it was later used as a bedroom by Espiritu’s son from her first marriage, Juan Menendez, and his wife, Juana.
