Historical Highlights of the Patton Homestead & Heroes' Fields

Welcome!  This tour features several historical highlights of note around the Patton Homestead in Hamilton, Massachusetts.

This tour has been prepared by the Wenham Museum, which owns and operates the Patton Family Archives within one wing of the Homestead. The Patton Family Archives are a collection of materials, papers, and objects that chronicle the family life and legacy of one of America’s premier military families who resided here on Boston’s North Shore. The Archives are also an untapped, unparalleled resource regarding the service and sacrifice of Maj. Gen. Patton and his troops during the Korean and Vietnam Wars and that of his wife, Joanne Holbrook Patton, on the home front.

The Patton Family Archives are open for guided tours at select dates and times.  Browse our list of dates and register or explore more upcoming programs and events hosted by the Wenham Museum.

The Wenham Museum is a donor and visitor-supported nonprofit institution that is not supported by tax revenue from either Wenham or Hamilton.  Please consider supporting this tour by clicking the "Donate" buttom above.  Your support benefits the Patton Family Archives and the exhibits and programs of the nonprofit Wenham Museum.

To begin the tour, please head to the front door of the Patton Homestead.  Thank You!
