This colonial-era millstone was originally found in the Ipswich River, and moved to its present location by the Patton Family. It has been used as the base of a baptismal font by St. John’s Church, Beverly Farms which occasionally held summer services on the property.
To continue your tour, head to the stable at the end of the paved parking lot next to the Patton Homestead.
