The FSMS Library

Hi falcons!

My name is Ms Coake. I'm your FSMS librarian. I am so excited to welcome you back to the falcon library this school year!

The library is a great place to visit if you need research or homework help, technology assistance, or if you ever have any questions. We are here to help!  You can also visit us if you need a place to work or just hang out, want to tinker in our Maker Space, or of course if you need to find something great to read! We have a huge collection of books and graphic novels and get new items all the time. Come check it out!

The library is open every school day from 8:15 - 4:20. One thing you should know, especially if you are entering as a 6th grader, is that library visits work a little differently than in elementary school. As MS students you are often reading longer books that take a longer time to read. You will not be visiting with your class on a schedule every week like in elementary. You will usually visit with your ELA class to check out books every 2-4 weeks, depending on your grade level. Your ELA teacher will tell you more. But, you don't have to wait for your class to visit to stop by. We are open for drop ins all the time! Great times to come are before school starts or during your lunch period. You can also ask your teachers for a pass during class.

You can also always keep up to date on what is going on in the library using our Library Schoology course. Visit for fun daily programming activities, announcements about special events like book fairs, author visits, and contests, and for 24 hour access to Ebooks or to make physical book reservations.
