Lockers

Lockers

Every student will have a locker this year.  You will leave all backpacks, string bags, and cell phones in your locker.  You can stop at your locker between classes to get items that you need at different times of the day, such as your lunch or KickStart uniform.  For most of the day, you’ll likely only need to carry a binder, pencil bag, and a book to read.

When it comes to decorating your locker, be mindful that any interior shelves or decorations that put pressure on the door or lock will cause the locker to jam.  We recommend purchasing the FSMS Locker Shelves through the RevTrack Web Store.  These custom-made wooden shelves will fit your locker perfectly.  And remember that while decorating you should not damage your locker in any way.  Magnetic decorations are great; stay away from tapes and glues.

Here are some helpful hints for having a locker:

·       Learn your combination quickly.  Refer to the signs near the locker banks about how to work your combination lock.

·       Don’t stuff your locker – it will jam.

·       If you’re struggling with your locker, ask a teacher near you for help.

·       Always make sure you turn the lock a few times when you’re finished to ensure that your locker is secure.

·       Never share your locker combination with a friend.
