Popcorn vendors wheeled their popcorn wagons right up to the theater to provide freshly popped kernels and candy to long ago theater patrons. A fancy popcorn wagon like this was very expensive! Even in the early 1900s this wagon cost a thousand dollars! Look at the little clown turning the popcorn warmer. Under the clown is a tiny steam engine!
