Dodge photo from auction

1917 Dodge

Dodge was the first car maker to make an all-steel car body. Most car bodies at that time were made of wood, and steel was much, much stronger. It would take everyone else about 20 years to get on to the idea of all steel bodies, so Dodge was very ahead of its time. The Dodge brothers were two of the most important contributors to American automobiles. This is a special car selected for you to sit in, so climb on in and imagine what it was like to drive a Brass Era car over a century ago!
