1927 Pierce-Arrow

This beautiful car has the trademark fender headlights Pierce-Arrow is known for. The lights were molded into the fenders to give the car a fancy-looking design. Now that most of the technical details had been worked out in the early Brass Era automobiles, car makers were free to focus on beautiful designs. And with the Art Deco design style right around the corner, automobiles began to take on the design elemens of this popular design trend that was also seen in furniture, buildings, and clothes: swooping curves, repeating lines, even details that looked like airplanes!

Notice all the beautiful details on this automobile: the etched glass, the soft leather upholstery, the shiny nickel. Do you think this car was an expensive car to drive in 1927? If you could design a car what would it look like?
