The Stanley SV is one of the very last Stanleys ever made. The front looks different from other Stanleys because it has a kind of radiator. The Stanley Steam Vehicle Company knew it had better make its cars look more like regular gas cars, even though they weren't.
This is a condensing steam car: it turned some of the steam back to water and so it was a little more effficient than regular steam cars. Still, people were already buying gas cars by 1925, and Stanleys wouldn't be produced for very much longer.
