1913 Cole Roadster

The Cole is great big two seater roadster, much bigger than two-seat sportscars of today. It was a sturdy car with a powerful engine and the latest technology. Look at the wooden artillery wheels and large tires. This Cole could easily keep up on a highway today, with top speeds upward of 50 miles per hour!

Cole relied heavily on advertising to promote its brand at a time when the automobile was still somewhat new in our country and around the world. Cole even developed jingles, or songs, to help consumers remember how useful Cole cars could be. LIsten to one now.
