The railroad tracks in front of you are owned by the Union Pacific Railroad, though you may also see Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railcars using these tracks. The Union Pacific is part of the historic transcontinental railroad system that carries freight across the United States. These tracks have been in use here since 1863, playing a key role in the region’s transportation and development. Please cross under the railroad tracks, then make a right turn to follow alongside the tracks. This path will lead you back to the River Walk or Wetlands Walk trails.
