1 - Trailhead

You are at the trailhead for both the Lost Slough Wetlands Walk and the Cosumnes River Walk. This is your starting point for exploring the heart of the Cosumnes River Preserve. From here, you can choose to embark on the shorter Wetlands Walk, which winds through restored marsh habitat rich with birdlife, or the longer River Walk, which offers scenic views of the riparian forest and the Cosumnes River itself. Follow along to discover the unique ecosystems and history of the area.
