Exam and Birthing Room

As you enter the room you are in the exam room and to your left is the birthing room. During the mid 1940s through the early 1970s many babies were delivered here by Dr. Herbert Boyer. The women could labor here privatley while Dr. Boyer continued to see patients in his office. When the baby was born it would be taken out of the room into the back part of the clinic where it could be further checked out. It is estimated that Dr. Boyer delivered more than 2000 babies in all his years of experience.
