Spice Village

Located at  - 213 Mary Ave, the Corner of 2nd St and Franklin Ave, Waco, TX 76701.

Spice Village is not just a great place to shop in downtown Waco, it is also where Joanna Gaines first started selling in the city.  She sold baby clothes here... and she did it with three other women.  One of them was famous.  Her name is Christy Proctor from a hit television series called, Trading Spaces.

Christy also owns a shop in town called "Christy's".

Spice Village is located in the historic MCLENDON HARDWARE COMPANY building. Built in 1908, it is an iconic 30,000 square foot landmark that still possesses the signature long-leaf pine beams separating each of the shops. Many visitors have said that the old wood has a striking aroma that makes them feel "at ease."
