The Drawing Room

Welcome to the Drawing Room 

This beautiful room was designed by Elizabeth, whose refined taste can be seen in every detail. The jade green fireplaces add a striking touch of colour against the warm Siberian pine panelling, creating a room that feels both luxurious and inviting. Beneath your feet lies the original Axminster carpet, a wool and silk mix.

Elizabeth loved music — she was known for her singing, often performing for guests right here. She would be accompanied by a pianist on her custom-designed Steinway piano, filling the room with song and laughter during evenings of entertainment.

Today, the Drawing Room remains much as she envisioned — a space of elegance, warmth, and charm.
