Garette

Garette is a good friend of mine that I met several years ago at the Society of Illustrators in Manhattan.  I have long admired her painting and illustration.  She is an incredibly talented artist and it was my privilege to paint her.  After I painted her, I painted her friend, Karin, and during that session, Garette sketched me in her sketch book in a sketch I loved so much I asked if she could send me a photo of it so I could make a print for my home.  That sketch of me, which I love, proudly hangs in my home.
