Govalle's Garden

Govalle’s Garden, a collaboration between Creative Action’s Chroma Collective artists and the fourth-grade class of Govalle Elementary, is located at Govalle Elementary. Created in 2023, this mural combines adult artworks as well as student creations, all themed around the art that exists within nature and the value of local pollinators. The project was sponsored by a Bright Green Futures grant from the City of Austin’s Office of Sustainability. This funding enabled the mural not only to be created but to foster the artistic development of young students. This mural celebrates nature’s beauty as an example of collaboration and community.
