Harrison C. Frisenda

{Written by his Mother}

The universe is a little emptier and a little sadder without our Harrison. In the short time he was with us, he brought joy to everyone who crossed his path. His big bright eyes revealed a pensive, compassionate soul. His beautiful smile inspired cheerfulness and optimism. Harrison taught us how to appreciate little, even mundane every day activities we take for granted.

Seeing and experiencing a day through Harrison’s eyes made everything seem new again.Harrison was sensory driven.He took pleasure in just quietly observing the world.He delighted in the outdoors, swimming and jumping in the deep end, walking trails for hours with his papa, or even swinging after a snowstorm.

Harrison’s favorite thing was being with family. His infectious shrieks of happiness could be heard around the block. The birth of his sister took some getting used to, but Harrison was a wonderful big brother, allowing his baby sister to take the lead during play time. Although his anxiety made him reticent to try new things, Harrison learned to be brave. Once he overcame his initial fears, there was no holding him back.

Our family cherished Harrison. We had big dreams for him and know he would have accomplished great things. Our hearts are heavy with loss, but we treasure the seven and a half years we had with our wonderful, unique boy.
