Cigar Family Charitable Foundation

The Cigar Family Charitable Foundation is the proudest accomplishment born from the J.C. Newman and Arturo Fuente cigar companies partnership. Eric Newman and Carlos Fuente, Jr. had a dream to give back to the Bonao region of the Dominican Republic by adding a wing onto a school. This vision resulted in a 23-acre complex with a K-12 school, postgraduate vocational school, arts academy and health clinic for the community. 

The Cigar Family School has graduated over 400 students, been named a model project by the United Nations, and has created immeasurable change in one of the most impoverished regions of the Domincian Republic.

The Newman and Fuente families underwrite all of the charity's administrative costs so 100% of every donation goes directly to fund the mission of the project.
