Ana Maria Botero - "Migration"

Hi, this is Ana Maria Botero, an artist from Colombia, living in Loveland, Colorado

I loved working with simple geometric shapes and trying out different materials. This piece, "Relentless Flight."  o en español “Vuelo Implacable” is inspired by the Monarch butterfly, for me, it’s a symbol of focus, persistence, and determination.

I decided to use Aluminum Composite material , drawn to  its lightness and the ability to stand the elements, much like the enduring spirit of the Monarch itself.

Working with new material was challenging, but it turned out to be a really nice experience.

Thank you for taking the time to know a little bit more about my piece
