The Torrevieja Casino is located at Paseo Vista Alegre number 14 in Torrevieja. It is a private building that houses the Torrevieja Casino Cultural Society. Of Valencian Modernist and Historicist style, it was built in 1896. The building was designed by the architects José Guardiola Picó and Tomás Aznar in 1896. Its architectural style is Valencian Modernism, and was inaugurated on August 10, 1896.
It consists of a ground floor and a single height. The modernist style door with three columns stands out at the entrance to the building. Inside is the modernist-style ballroom, decorated with plaster coffered ceiling, plant ornamentation and dragon sculptures. One of its most outstanding rooms is the Arab room with a clear neo-Nazari influence, built in 1901. The room is decorated with Arab-style furniture.
The main hall was decorated by the Murcian painter Inocencio Medina Vera illustrating the seasons of the year in some murals. The Murcian artist Enrique Álvarez Salas made the decoration of the game room on the first floor.
