Walking Tour Welcome

Hello! My name is Julie Wells, and I’m the current President of the Oxford Museum.  I live here in Oxford, Maryland and I want to welcome you to this walking tour produced by Oxford Museum volunteers. We have designed this walking tour to follow the sequence of stops you can see on the map, but feel free to make your own way.  This tour is not a chronological history lesson, thank goodness. It is a collection of stories and some history. You can listen to stops in any order that you wish.  Spend a few minutes with us, or complete the whole tour in about two hours.

If you enjoy this tour as much as we hope you will, please consider becoming a member of the Museum, or contributing something today to help us keep these programs coming. You can do that right from your phone by clicking here.

Now, let me orient you a bit before you head out.  Have a seat on a nearby bench, then select “Introduction.”
