The Corn Crib

This small raised structure is called the Corn Crib. At harvest time, the corn grown on the property would be hung inside the crib to dry. It sits raised up on six tall pillars, the tops of which are surrounded with metal sheeting to prevent rodents from being able to get to the grain inside. Today it is empty, besides a few cobwebs...
