1915 Peerless

Peerless was one of the great American car brands of the early 1900s. Like the Pierce-Arrow and the FIAT, Peerless made very expensive, high-quality cars. Notice how much bigger the Peerless and FIAT are than the little Ford Model T. Notice the finishes, the colors, the upholstery. Peerless was a great American car manufacturer. Many people could afford to buy a very high quality American automobile, and those who did often chose to buy Peerless automobiles.

In the early 1900s, automobile manufacturers used racing to promote their brands, and Peerless did this too. Race car driver Barney Oldfield broke speed records when he drove a famous Peerless race car called the Green Dragon.
