10. 70's Building

The living room is from the curators own home when he was growing up. Many of you will recognize these items from your own house.

In the garage is a 1971 Pontiac Lamonz Sport, well sort of. They did not make a Lamonz Sport Convertible in 1971. The curators mom wanted a convertible and she convinced the dealer and factory to build a convertible. The factory took a GTO and removed the tac hood and GTO emblems but all other parts are all from a GTO.  It is the only one known to be in existence and the original cost was $5400

The other car is a 1971 Porsche 911. It is the lightest Porsche ever built. That year Porsche won the 24 hours at Daytona race.
