Beauty Master Mural

The mural at the back of the Beauty Master Hair Salon, on the corner of Hyde Square and  Day Street, is a sight to behold. Redone in 2017 by Rob “ProBlak” Gibbs, Victor “MARKA27” Quinonez, and David “Don Rimx” Sepulveda, this mural is full of beads, feathers, and vivid colors. Two black women, their faces framed in blue and their skin covered in geometric patterns, are the subject of this arresting piece of art. 

To get to the next spot on the tour, cross Day Street at the rotary, and turn down Perkin Street. On the wide wall on the left side of the street, is our next stop - the Taino Mural!
