The Graham House

Located at 525 Camp Dr., TX 76710.

SEASON 4, EPISODE 5:

One of my very favorite episodes, this one featured RGIII, the former Baylor football player.  If you remember the episode, the house was owned by an older couple, a veteran and his disabled wife.

This is one of my favorite episodes for a few reasons:

#1, This project was very special because it was part of Robert Griffin III’s Family of 3 Foundation. Family of 3 is a non profit foundation that benefits struggling military families. Their generous giving and support helped make this project a possibility for this special family. Along with Robert’s foundation, the community of Waco also rallied around this project and helped by donating labor and materials to get us to the finish line.   The couple paid zero dollars to appear on that episode.

#2, This house is only 800 plus square feet.  For a designer to make a tiny house look big, well, that's what design is all about.

#3, The veteran, Mr. Graham, still lives here.  Very few people live in the houses they got on the show.  And Mr. Graham is one of the very few that still lives in his house.  This is even after his wife past away.  She died before this episode ever aired.  That episode is dedicated to her.  And we have to believe that Mr. Graham still lives in this house because it reminds him of her.

It's simply one of my most favorite stories from the show.
