Therapy Garden

Bullington Gardens boasts a serene and purposeful Therapy Garden meticulously designed to serve as a sanctuary for healing, growth, and rejuvenation. Located at spot number five on the map, it is designed with the intent of making gardening more accessible for those with limited mobility. Nestled amidst lush greenery and vibrant blooms, this tranquil haven provides a nurturing environment where individuals can connect with nature and embark on a journey of personal transformation. With raised beds filled to the brim with colorful annuals, an accessible tool shed, a water feature and a greenhouse that doubles as a classroom for the horticultural therapy program.

The Therapy Garden serves as a dynamic outdoor classroom, where individuals of all ages and abilities can participate in hands-on gardening activities, guided by experienced Horticultural Therapists. Whether planting seeds, tending to vegetable patches, or crafting nature-inspired artwork, participants are encouraged to explore their creativity, build new skills, and cultivate a deeper connection with the natural world. The students will often decorate the Therapy Garden with their classroom projects, especially at Halloween and Christmas.

Bullington’s Therapy Garden offers a peaceful retreat for quiet reflection and meditation, allowing visitors to find solace amidst life's challenges and uncertainties. Serene water features, tranquil seating areas, and secluded alcoves invite contemplation and mindfulness, fostering a sense of inner peace and balance.
