The Santa Eufémia Viewpoint

In the late afternoon and if you have your own vehicle, we recommend a trip to the Santa Eufémia Viewpoint.

To get there, turn left onto Rua Marquês Viana and follow the respective signposts.

The viewpoint is about 470 meters high and offers one of the most beautiful views over the municipality of Sintra, from Queluz to the ocean.

According to the crusade chronicles dating back to 1147, the water from the Santa Eufémia spring would have curative powers, and for this reason the hermitage of Santa Eufémia was built in the 13th century, which became a place of pilgrimage and devotion.

In this space there is also a leisure area with a picnic area that offers cool shades for the hottest days.

We are sure that the landscape will not leave you indifferent.
