Saint Peter Parish Church

The town displays the proud Parish Church consecrated to Saint Peter, one of the first Portuguese parishes, along with three others built by King Afonso Henriques in Sintra, after defeating the Moors in 1147.

Very famous is the São Pedro Fair, which takes place every second and fourth Sunday of each month at King Fernando II Square. This is a fair whose origins date back to the 12th century, where you can find a little of everything.
