Moon Montain

We can’t talk about Sintra without mentioning its mountain.

Long considered a divine space by Druidic civilizations. It is incredibly beautiful, rich and magical.

Commonly known as the Moon Hill, it is the continuation of the Serra da Estrela mountain range which ends at Cabo da Roca, marking the western limit of the European continent.

The unique beauty of its cultural landscape has been classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1995, being the first one in the world with this classification.
