Upjohn House Art Tour

Welcome to the Upjohn House. Originally built by the Wood family during the Victorian age, the home showcases the elegant and upscale Italianate style of the period. This includes 10-foot windows, limited edition wallpaper and light fixtures, ornate trim, and a love of the European arts. The Upjohn family occupied this home during most of its existence. William Upjohn was known for his inventions as a physician, businessman, and naturalist. His company grew into one of America’s major pharmaceutical manufacturers. Francois Moyet, the current owner and caretaker of the Upjohn House, has slowly been finding collectibles and art to bring history home. Please enjoy his current collection as we lead you on this tour.
