Paint Can Plants

Paint can plants are made from simply repurposed standard one-gallon paint cans.  I have found the metal containers work well for planting directly into once cleaned. The plastic containers are better used as a sleeve, which fits around a standard one-gallon size plant container. Over the years, I have used this type of container to grow various vining house plants, like pothos and ivy, annuals like pansies and petunias, and succulents like jade and aloe vera to name just a few.
