This interpretation of the E3’s sportiness takes its name from the original factory-offered color, Inka Orange. Which, by the way, was also the preferred finish for racing cars in the sixties and seventies. The Inka pays tribute to the athletic spirit of the 2500 series, which introduced a sporty concept for luxury cars at a time when these were usually seen more as a solid and defendable means of transport.

The color BMW 022 Inka Orange is synonymous with an entire BMW generation, mainly the 02 models up to the top-of-the-line 2002tii with 130 hp. The orange shade is unusual for an E3. The visual impact? Sporty, of course. Beneath the hood, this E3 delivers what is promises: a 3.0S with 180 hp.

The high-performance luxury sedan symbolizes sportiness and joy of driving. The driving performance exceeded that of the competition and combined sovereign sportiness with dignified elegance. Inca (hence the name) was one of the most popular colors.
