C3PO

Tom Clay is an English artist currently painting in Switzerland. Although he specializes in landscapes, Clay also paints more "whimsical" subjescts such as this head portrait of C3PO. C3PO is an interesting subject, as opposed to any of the stars of the movie. 

But here Clay captures C3PO, with as Luke states, "...a lot of carbon scoring…” acquired from, “...a lot of action". Painting in the genre of photorealism Clay is still able to capture the inner soul of C3PO (if he has one). C3PO acts as the foil to the bravery, and in some cases, the foolhardy bravery, of the main antagonists; acting, as it were, as the conscience of the movie.
