There are 2 fire extinguishers, located in 2 different locations.

The Carbon Monoxide Fire Extinguisher can be found in the door entry between cc 10 and cc11, in the wall.

To operate a fire extinguisher you need to remember to PASS. This stands for; Pull the pin in the handle, Aim the nozzle at the base of the fire, Squeeze the handle, Sweep the nozzle side to side. Remember to test the extinguisher before you get to the fire. This information is on the extinguisher, check it out.

Now to locate the duress alarm. The duress alarm is located on the side of the medication cupboard near the sink.

Once this has been located, walk towards the Water extinguisher.

The Water extinguisher is next to the lift doors on the left. Both extinguishers are in unlocked wall cupboards.

If you turn around and look at the CT door.

This is NOT a fire door, if the Emergency Department is evacuated, we need to inform the CT staff.
