Green Room

Green room safety devices.

Start at the computer area.

The silent duress alarm is located under the upper cabnets, next to the  green room computer, can you find it.

Please walk to the triage entry door.

The Carbon Monoxide fire extinguisher is located outside the TRACC area.

On the right of the door is the Medical Gas Valve Box. Areas with piped oxygen have an isolation valve, which can be turned off to stop the flow of oxygen to the area.

This Medical Gas Valve Box,  holds  the oxygen, suction and medical air shut off valves. Only turn this off on the shift engineers orders. If this gets turned off, patients on oxygen will need portable O2.

The Break Glass Alarm has a new cover. If you open the plastic cover it will make a sound. This does NOT activate a CODE RED. You still need to break the glass on the alarm. Use your pen to do this.

All fire detectors; break glass alarms, smoke, heat, sprinkler heads, are connected to the Fire Brigade, and will automatically alert the Brigade, and page the Hospitals Emergency Response Team.
