Though damaged in the Reformation and later used as a school room, the Lady Chapel still hints at that idea of grace that is particularly fitting to the last of the seven courts of the Abbey. Curiously, it was not part of the original Abbey, but added later, so that it stands as if a crown upon the original structure.
