8 - The Great Crossing - Heart of the Abbey and its functions

At the heart of the Abbey is the Great Crossing surrounding which is a virtual church within a church - originally exclusive to the Monks and their daily devotions.  This part of the tour focuses on the Quire with a sample of Gregorian chant music from the abbey of St Cecelia on the Isle of Wight.
