Marty & Lil

Marty Hauck grew up in New York City.  He met Lillian Reynolds one summer and for their 2nd date, he drove out to beautiful Stony Brook for a day out of the city. They had lunch, walked the Crescent and fed the ducks at the ‘Duck Pond’. That afternoon they both agreed it would be a wonderful place to live and raise children. 10 years later they left the city and moved to Stony Brook. All three of their children graduated from Ward Melville High School. Their youngest and his family still live just 2 miles from the pond. All of their Children will always think of Stony Brook as home and the pond a very special place.
