820 South St (Headquarters of CCPDCC)

Here is the site of the former headquarters of the Citizens’ Committee to Preserve and Develop the Crosstown Community (CCPDCC), organized by Alice Lipscomb George Sugarman, and others to successfully oppose the construction of the Crosstown Expressway--and its association demolition of neighborhoods across the city.
