The Lincoln Hotel was formerly located on the site now occupied by the parking lot for Dr. Beaver’s Dentistry and the West Washington County Clinic. Originally constructed around 1904 by Mr. Mitchell of Fayetteville, it functioned as one of the primary lodging establishments in the town. Over the years, the hotel changed ownership multiple times, being managed by individuals such as Doke Holt, Charles Burns, John Haws, J. A. Miller, T. B. West, Wm. Bliss, and Ted Roeves. Although the building no longer exists, it was historically an important gathering place and a notable landmark for both travelers and local residents of Lincoln.
