Roses Have Thorns Documentary

This stop consists of a wooden bench and television monitor which plays a black and white documentary program on a loop.  This documentary features Tammy Wood, Assistant Public Affairs Director, who volunteers to commit herself to Kalamazoo State Hospital. This two week impersonation is known only to the state mental health director, the hospital superintendent, and a very few department heads. The story of her stay there is told by her as she lived it. The pictorial representation was recreated after she left the hospital.  Produced in 1964 by Wood TV.
