Hall of Breeds

Each of the seven breeds of dairy cows can be found in this hallway! When the Hall of Breeds was designed, farmers were able to nominate and vote for their favorite Iowa cow to represent each individual breed. The legacy of these special ladies will be able to live on forever as thousands of people see them every year. The graphics on the walls show where each breed originated, the highlights of the breed, and some fun facts. Our farm is home to Holsteins, which are known for producing the most milk, and Jerseys, who have the highest butterfat concentration.
