Welcome to the world of sustainable fashion and eco-conscious household thrift store options in Reno and Sparks, volume 1! We're thrilled that you're interested in exploring alternatives to the wasteful practices that are all too common in the fashion and home goods industries.
Did you know that a shocking 85% of textiles in the U.S. are thrown away, with most of them ending up in landfills or being burned? That's why it's so important to seek out options that are kinder to the planet. Luckily, our community has many wonderful options for second-hand and resale clothing and household items.
In Reno and Sparks, you'll find a variety of thrift stores, resale shops, and consignment shops, each with their own unique offerings. No matter where you shop, you'll find a wide range of styles to suit your preferences, whether you're into vintage or modern looks.
______________
Savers
This is a privately owned for-profit company that is now global and has applied to be a publicly traded common stock company in the near future.
What we like about Savers is that it is very organized and the clothes are in good condition and separated by type and size. The place draws a regular crowd of people, but there is lots of room. It is large and resembles a large retail chain store. The furniture selection is pretty sparse, but books and household items have a good selection.
