Thank You for continuing on this Virtual Tour with me. The machine in front of you is called Cross Cutting & Cross Hemming machine. it is of Schmale make which is a german brand. And the model is schmale 670. As you can see this machine is strategically placed after the length hemming machines. This is done because the singular and longitudinally hemmed towel ropes are to be processed by this machine. This machine actually performs three tasks – the First one is that of cross cutting which refers to the cutting of the rope of towels into single pieces of towel. The Second task it undertakes is that of Cross hemming or hemming the short borders of the towel – to Ensure all four sides are now hemmed. The third task that this machine does is that of stitching any brand labels required onto the towels. Since we want everyone to know where these towels were made and how they need to be looked after this is an extremely important step – The Branding team certainly agrees with me. As you can see The processes are fully automatic and no human intervention is required. The product of this machine that is Trident Towels are now ready for packaging.
