You are facing – that is if you are correctly aligned as per the sticker on the floor – what is called a Length hemming machine.The machine is manufactured by Schmale; which is german brand and the model we use is schmale 450. After the length cutting machine has done its job this machine seals the deal, that is, the separated singular ropes of towel from the length cutting machine are fed to length hemming machine which then automatically hems the entire length of the towel’s long sides. Simply put it folds back and sews down the edge of the towel. The RPM of this machine is 15. And as you can see the entire process is automatic. From here the hemmed towel ropes will be sent to the Cross Cutting and Cross hemming machines – Please move to VTA 3 and VTA 4 to know more about them
