SHIKI, the new collection from Atelier Mirage designed by Studio Hasuike, draws its name from the Japanese word meaning both “four seasons” and “to arrange.” It embodies the harmony of nature and the balance of thoughtful design, inspired by tatami mats, where every module defines rhythm and proportion. Studio Hasuike’s “Art of Measure” guides SHIKI’s design, carefully calibrating form, texture, and layout to create surfaces that are balanced and meaningful—never minimal, but intentionally harmonious. Subtle textures, colors, and modular layouts interact with light, creating dynamic three-dimensional effects that enhance perception and atmosphere.
The collection’s tactile surfaces evoke the sensory qualities of tatami through a refined interplay of weave, body, and glaze. Options with borders add definition and rhythm, while borderless slabs create visual continuity. Coordinating mosaics and strips allow for further compositional flexibility, letting designers layer textures, colors, and geometric patterns to achieve varied levels of visual intensity. SHIKI’s four tones—Brezza, Vapore, Ripa, and Alba—are designed to evoke calm, balance, and timelessness, while Graphite accents introduce subtle contrast and rhythm.
SHIKI is the result of decades of cross-cultural design expertise from Makio and Naomi Hasuike, whose Italo-Japanese sensibilities merge precision, minimalism, and expressive detail. The collection transforms the tatami’s sensory values into porcelain surfaces, offering architects and designers a versatile tool for creating spaces where interior and exterior environments flow seamlessly, and where rhythm, texture, and color convey a sense of place, culture, and well-being.
NÖRIVEN by Mirage reinterprets the timeless elegance of Portland stone for contemporary architecture. Inspired by iconic structures like the British Museum and Tate Modern, the collection doesn’t imitate the stone—it captures its essence: solidity without heaviness, elegance without ostentation, and personality without dominating the space. Designed for architects and designers, NÖRIVEN enhances a project subtly, providing balance and harmony that let light and space speak for themselves.
The collection offers two surface expressions. Cross-Cut emphasizes subtle, uniform mineral stratifications, perfect for calm, balanced interiors. Vein-Cut introduces directional veining, guiding movement and adding architectural character. Five carefully calibrated shades, along with three “marked” variants, ensure the palette complements modern materials from steel to wood while supporting versatile design applications.
NÖRIVEN bridges indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly, with the 20 mm EVO 2/e outdoor format maintaining aesthetic continuity across terraces, patios, and interiors. Three structured finishes—Bends, Slim, and Waves—bring walls to life, adding sculptural depth and dynamic interaction with light. With its combination of understated beauty, functional versatility, and architectural intelligence, NÖRIVEN transforms spaces without ever overpowering them.
Terrae by AMDL CIRCLE is a ceramic collection that explores the dialogue between light, material, and space. Inspired by earth as a source of life and memory, the collection transforms surfaces into expressive elements that connect architecture with human and natural experience. Terrae balances innovation and tradition, inviting reflection on the relationship between design, materiality, and the world around us.
The collection is organized into three distinct lines. Atmo reinterprets Italian ceramic traditions with geometric reliefs and large-format slabs or porcelain tiles, creating depth and rhythm through light and texture. Idro evokes the elegance of resin floors, with subtle tone-on-tone variations and delicate rain-inspired markings that bring calm and visual complexity. Lito transforms architecture through three-dimensional ceramic modules that filter light, modulate air, and orchestrate dynamic patterns, merging function with poetic expression. Part of Atelier Mirage, Terrae continues the brand’s pursuit of refined, functional design that influences how we inhabit space. Developed with AMDL CIRCLE, a Milan-based studio led by Michele De Lucchi, the collection reflects a humanistic approach to architecture and design, where surfaces are more than decorative—they shape the way we experience and interact with our surroundings.
