Welcome to the Cosumnes River Preserve Audio Tour!
This audio tour will guide you along the Lost Slough Wetlands Walk Trail, a scenic 1-mile loop that begins and ends at the Visitor Center. As you explore, you’ll experience the beauty of seasonal wetlands and riparian forest habitats that make this area so special.
The trail is paved and universally accessible, open daily from sunrise to sunset for self-guided walks. Off the main loop, you’ll also find the Boardwalk Trail—a ½-mile round trip path that offers an up-close view of the wetlands and is accessible from the Wetlands Walk.
Our trails are here for your enjoyment, but your safety is important—please stay on designated paths at all times.
While we understand the love for pets, they can disturb the wildlife we work hard to protect. For that reason, pets are not allowed at the Preserve.
Finally, please remember to pack out all trash and help us preserve the natural beauty of this space by practicing Leave No Trace principles.
